Tuesday to Friday 12 noon until 14:30 and  18:00 until 21:00

Saturday 20:45 and Sunday until 19:45

CLOSED MONDAY Except for summer bank holidays 12:00 until 16:45

SUNDAY 12 UNTIL 19:45 PM PUB UNTIL22:00

Guidance Dogs only

We are very sorry but we don’t allow dogs (except guide dogs) inside the Winking Man pub during food service times but we have heated huts outside and other outside facilities

No food is served outside during busy periods or bad weather

Facilities include

Cash or Card payments, Wheelchair accessible toilets, Beer garden, Pool, dominoes, Darts

Function Room BOOK NOW FOR 2024/5

Our large function room now taking bookings for 2024 it is ideal for weddings, birthdays, parties or corporate events and has the distinction of being the highest function room in England (1500 foot above sea level).

Large Car Park

Caravans, Campervans and Motorhomes are welcome at the Winking Man for overnight stopovers. We have electric hook up points, Elsan, and Toilet outside (may not be available during frosty weather due to freezing), so why not relax, and thoroughly enjoy our fantastic location and excellent hospitality, Phone to book.
