ESTABLISHED LAST FRIDAY IN JUNE 2003 After the end of the Highwayman ( yes we carried it on so its reunion every month) 

Great food served in the bar until 9pm then at 9pm in the main room the Fun begins,

It is also essential to please phone and book camper vans and tents (No caravans on the car park)

This night is strictly over 18s, if you look under 21 you may be asked for ID, the management reserve the right to refuse entry.

IF STOPPING OVER PLEASE DON’T PLAY LOUD MUSIC OR MAKE NOISE ON THE CAR PARK the responsible vehicles will be moved off the premises, WE HAVE NEIGHBOURS

We now put a wristband on everyone who goes in to the club the wristband means you can move between the bar and club this helps you to get served quicker and watch the band. so don’t forget the PUB bar is open until 12.30am so no need for the queues at the club bar which is open until 2am
Unfortunately we cant allow drinks to be taken out of the club any more.

CAMPING Toilets are available for campers and overnight stops.
And the rules NO Camp fires or BBQs, NO noise, NO revving vehicles, and take your rubbish home, sorry to be a party pooper but I have to face up to the neighbours after

And now for something that really bugs us at the Winking Man, People bringing their own alcohol, from now on anyone caught with their own cans, bottles, booze etc will be refused entry. sounds a bit harsh but we are in the business of retailing alcohol.

PARKING…… Please park in between the white lines not over them 100 spaces marked out with room for about 40 more
ANYONE BRINGING LARGE VEHICLES (camper vans etc.) PLEASE PREBOOK or you could be refused.

Electric hook ups can be pre booked on the pub number but due to people letting us down they now have to be paid for on booking. Large motorhomes or Caravans must book a pitch

OVERNIGHT STAY WELCOME ON THE CAR PARK BUT AS ABOVE LARGE VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED OFF THE MAIN CAR PARK TO LEAVE ROOM FOR CARS.

MY MUSIC POLICY

Predominantly it is a Classic Rock night but we cant be stuck in the 80s or 90s and to encourage a new fan base the newer Rock will be played with most genres covered.

HISTORY

We do call our night a Classic Rock Night which means Classic Rock Music from the 70s to present, because the good tracks being played now could certainly be Classic tracks in a few years time as were the great bands of the 80s and 90s, and you cant live in the past…. we have to move on so please do expect some GOOD recent rock tracks.
If you do have any comments to improve the night tell me, I do listen.

30th May 2003 the end of an Era, The Highwayman Rock Venue Closed it’s doors for the Last time after 28 years as the premier Rock venue in Staffordshire, That venue can never be replaced or substituted, But don’t despair……….
We now have a great head banging experience with DJ Dodge Ferguson we continue the tradition with our Classic Rock night
